Day 14 - Ayah 14 - Allah knows His creation

 

أَلَا يَعْلَمُ مَنْ خَلَقَ وَهُوَ ٱللَّطِيفُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ

How could He not know His Own creation? For He ˹alone˺ is the Most Subtle, All-Aware.

About Al-Lateef

Lateef comes from the root laam-Taa-faa, which points out to four main meanings.

1. The first meaning is to be kind, gentle, mild, affectionate, soothing, and to bestow with kindness.

2. The second main meaning is to be thin, delicate, and refined, and

3. the third to be subtle and to know the details of all affairs.

4. The fourth main meaning is to treat with regard for circumstances.

Linguistically, the concept of lutf refers to being so kind to someone that they don’t notice as well as something that’s too tiny or too subtle to be seen or felt. It also means to know secrets and minute details of things and to be able to do what others can’t do.  Al-Lateef refers to His infinite kindness and His complete knowledge, with which He bestows gifts and favours on us, taking us gently from one situation to another and causing us to benefit without us even knowing it.

Al-Lateef Himself says: Vision perceives Him not, but He perceives [all] vision; and He is the Subtle, the Acquainted. [Quran, 6:103]

Day 13 - Ayah 13 - Allah knows what's in your heart

 

وَأَسِرُّوا۟ قَوْلَكُمْ أَوِ ٱجْهَرُوا۟ بِهِۦٓ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمٌۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ

Whether you speak secretly or openly—He surely knows best what is ˹hidden˺ in the heart.

Day 12 - Ayah 12 - Mighty Rewards

Now for todays Ayah:

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُم بِٱلْغَيْبِ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌۭ وَأَجْرٌۭ كَبِيرٌۭ

Indeed, those in awe of their Lord without seeing Him will have forgiveness and a mighty reward.

Day 11 - Ayah 11 - Regret but it is too late

فَٱعْتَرَفُوا۟ بِذَنۢبِهِمْ فَسُحْقًۭا لِّأَصْحَـٰبِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ

And so they will confess their sins. So away with the residents of the Blaze!

Day 10 Ayah 10 - If only....

وَقَالُوا۟ لَوْ كُنَّا نَسْمَعُ أَوْ نَعْقِلُ مَا كُنَّا فِىٓ أَصْحَـٰبِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ

And they will lament, “If only we had listened and reasoned, we would not be among the residents of the Blaze!”

Day 9 Ayah 9 - The Deniers

قَالُوا۟ بَلَىٰ قَدْ جَآءَنَا نَذِيرٌۭ فَكَذَّبْنَا وَقُلْنَا مَا نَزَّلَ ٱللَّهُ مِن شَىْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا 

فِى ضَلَـٰلٍۢ كَبِيرٍۢ 

They will reply, “Yes, a warner did come to us, but we denied and said, ‘Allah has revealed nothing. You are extremely astray.’”

How is everyone doing?

Ayah 8 - Did a warner not come to you?

 

Salaam guys ayah 8 mashaAllaah youre doing so well.

تَكَادُ تَمَيَّزُ مِنَ ٱلْغَيْظِ ۖ كُلَّمَآ أُلْقِىَ فِيهَا فَوْجٌۭ سَأَلَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَآ أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَذِيرٌۭ

almost bursting in fury. Every time a group is cast into it, its keepers will ask them, “Did a warner not come to you?”

 

Ayah 7

Salaam to my alkhor kids,

masaAllaah fantastic progress Dawud, Hannah and Ibrahim. Well done!

Ayah today talks about the fire from the last surah and says:

إِذَآ أُلْقُوا۟ فِيهَا سَمِعُوا۟ لَهَا شَهِيقًۭا وَهِىَ تَفُورُ 

When they are tossed into it, they will hear its roaring as it boils over,

]

Day 6 - Ayah 6 Hell - the evil destination

 Salaam all - Ayah 6 subhanallah may Allah save us from this evil destination! Ameen.

وَلِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِرَبِّهِمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ ۖ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ 

Those who disbelieve in their Lord will suffer the punishment of Hell. What an evil destination!

Day 5 - Shooting stars anyone?

 

Salaam All! Day 5 already, I can feel Ramadan going so fast already subhanAllaah lets make the most of it.

Did you know that in the Quran Allah tells us that shooting stars are thrown from the heavens by the angels at shaytan because they are soooo nosey they want to listen to what the angels are talking about?

Well you know now :) That is what todays Ayah is about. Read and memorise it from below.

وَلَقَدْ زَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنْيَا بِمَصَـٰبِيحَ وَجَعَلْنَـٰهَا رُجُومًۭا لِّلشَّيَـٰطِينِ ۖ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابَ ٱلسَّعِير

And indeed, We adorned the lowest heaven with ˹stars like˺ lamps, and made them ˹as missiles˺ for stoning ˹eavesdropping˺ devils, for whom We have also prepared the torment of the Blaze.
